New pets! We picked up three baby chickens from the feed store on Tuesday. Nora and Ken are probably the most excited and are really enjoying digging up worms to watch them eat. There have been lots of chicken questions, our favorite of which was "what does a chicken fart sound like?" The kids each named a chick: Rose, Digger, and Bah (I bet you can figure out whose is whose). Let the fun begin. Personally, I'm a little nervous that the pets are beginning to outnumber us.
So fun! I'm excited to see how this goes for you. We've thrown around the idea of having chickens at some point when we'll be around all summer. I love the names, too!
